Can't clear the bar set by TDK, but manages to limbo it's gargantuan self underneath it pretty gracefully. The strongest parts act as just another piece in what could be an indefinite story. TDKR is weakened when forced to convey a feeling closure to a single arc. But if it must end, TDKR does well with what its got and wraps up nicely. The ending ambiguity helps (though it really could have have cut on Al's face).
