I highly recommend, if you haven't already, that you visit the National Film Board of Canada website for access to free short films, especially if you enjoy the work of Norman McClaren. There's also a free iPhone/iPad app too. I've recently been watching The Story of Film with Mark Cousins and have also been feeling curious about The Polish Brothers/Twins films. Will be checking those out.
Finally watched Seconds (the second time in ten years) and The President's Analyst. Both fine films, although Seconds is stylistically the stronger of the two.
Finally got a Blu-ray player. So will be replacing 'some' of my favourite DVD's in time that might lend themselves to high definition. First Blu-ray disc I watched was 'Monsters',a slow burning/paced 'District 9 type, had it been made by Danny Boyle (in a sense).
Watched Timecrimes myself the other day. Surprised by how much I liked it.
