The clarity of the film's vision makes it feather light and 20' flow so smoothly. Just beautiful. And all despite the colourless life in the suburbs, the sencerity shakes you. I'd prescribe it to take one viewing each week as a tranquilizer. And what a suitable, beautiful music.
such a productive and comprehensive subject matter quelle spent and degraded with easy to swallow everyday shit.

Long live Jordi Savall, savior of viola da gamba! The soundtrack is marvelous: http://www.last.fm/music/Jordi+Savall/Tous+Les+Matins+Du+Monde

a.k.a. Buñuel in Disneyland. btw, off with Burton's head!
I admit, it's fulfilling its premisses as the director tries to bring in something "fetichist". 90's pretentious postmodern genre (i.e. "Crash"), what could one expect?.. Intimacy in indulging into the world of obsession (red velvet curtains, flesh..) and insisting on such imagery though all these are so desperatly 'wanted to be' mean something. Ja, nothing but consistent!
Trying to translate the titles in German may be understood and/or tolerated upto a point. But at least put it right! Life is not a wound!! And in case the editor is trying to make an irony, this is really a very cheap one.
