A Don DeLillo novel stripped of its humanity and given a righteous car chase. hella good.
goddammit
Absolutely charming and enchanting, best Allen film in a while.
Boo-hoo, suburban life is prison! Everyone has a secret! Okay cool, way to be ten years late to this party Mr. Field.
Well-made and engaging, but in the end this comes off to me as an overglorified Human Centipede.
Nostalgia out the wazoo
Wonderful cinematography and lighting, but the acting is godawful and portions of the plot are hideously unbelievable. This is the kind of film I'd like to see re-interpreted by a capable team for the modern day, I'm curious how that would turn out.
This guy right here.
I am quite literally pissing my pants in anticipation.
Fantastic and thought-provoking philosophical conversations, neat visuals, breathtaking soundtrack...but does it work as a movie? I guess. I'll probably watch it again.
The stories that intertwine in this particular film are very interesting, and it's well-constructed, for sure. BUT - the dialogue and acting can be painfully bad in some places.
No Ocean's Eleven?
Good.
One of the finest cinematographers, period.
Bad thing.
