Beyond the Black Rainbow

Quite gorgeous to look at, and almost impossibly visually authentic to the time period, but god how droning and empty. It would be nice to finish the film for the visual style, but god how boring.

hey, just wanted to say you're not alone in your difficulty with the monologue ending on wings of desire. i've watched it twice now and still don't know what to make of that, but it still blew me away.
