Great film with great performances. And everyone loves that music.
This movie was fantastic until the end. Tension is slowly built scene after scene, drawing you in, getting you pumped and ready for a climax... that never comes. Instead, you get a screen of text about Nixon resigning. Still worth watching, however.
There is a lot to like about this movie, but it comes across as if Terry Gilliam bit off more than he could chew. Many of the ideas and themes are choppy and underdeveloped. The ending, while shocking and funny, is also confusing and unsatisfying.
An excellent film about one man's reality falling apart. Gene Hackman is great.
