Very good.
4 stars because björk rocks it. not the best of lars von trier, yet good as usual.
this is a real painting.
I guess Eastwood had guts. It's not a easy subject to do a film from. I did not expect it. I didn't like it also, not that it's a bad film, but it will never be one of my favourites by master Clint.
so cool.
New York 1907. Just that is unbeliavable. And then you think about the whole film... I am amazed.
sam mendes goes indie. veeeeeeeeeeeeeeery indie.
liked it better the second time around. yet...
this film has the most beautiful opening credits ever.
home, that's what this film is about. <3
a pearl.
so so so funny and charming.
it's a nice pre-hollywood ang lee film. worth a check.
fairly enjoyed it. hollywood style, yes, but with grace and wonderful details. and let mother earth bless kristin scott-thomas for such a flawless beauty.
ahahah, troper!
Not Kubrick's best, for sure: Wonderfully shot but lacking rhythm. The characters are somehow kind of plain, cliché and not relatable. The sreenplay its not amazing also. It seems like it has all Kubrick's vocabulary in it already but very raw and not used in the best way. And what the f*** about that ending?!
a really really good screenplay.
love her. love her.
blew me away, somehow.
Here we are combining two of the greatest: Antonioni and Wenders. If i had no doubts on the aesthetics of it (and it still surprised me by being the best of the bests, amazing), i had some in terms of story line and i am so glad to say i had no reason to be afraid. This is superb, sublime. What an insight on what is being a director, a story teller. What a piece of art and life.
boring. very.
Oh god, this is such a wise film. Plus Katherine is a GREAT actress.
stunning amazing actress.
so so so beautiful.
