The Thief and the Cobbler

The fan restoration (called "The Recobbled Cut") was an attempt to show the film that Richard Williams had originally intended, before the work (27 years in the making) was taken from him and finished as quickly and as cheaply as possible. The various commercial versions of the film added voices to the silent, main characters and was recut even further. Even though the restoration is composed of varying qualities of animation, workprint footage, and storyboards, it is still one of the most incredible animated movies I have ever seen.
