Michael Robinson is a member of Moviate, a film and sound collective, based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Operating intuitively in dream spaces between heart and mind, he creates personal and experiential media focusing on environment, texture and emotional tonality. In addition to locked, single-channel works; he has constructed large scale, evolving light installations. These real time performance installations are conducted in a hands-on manner to affect the nature of projected images with a variety of found and appropriated optical material.
