  My favorite acts include Mingus, Coltrane Metheny, McLaughlin, and Weather Report. Been listening to Kenny Burrell's "God Bless the Child" lately. I don't consider myself an expert or anything though.

  Cool! Metheny is a favorite (I like the others, too--except McLaughlin--although I do like *Extrapolation* quite a bit.) Never really got into Burrell--although I haven't heard a ton of his stuff. Do you play guitar? Or do you just like the instrument?
