Currently in Kansas and am hoping to change that. I was a massive cinephile back in the day (always, the day) but have now succumbed to the drudgery of a burgeoning adult life. That I have joined such a website is probably indicative of some fading hope of rediscovering a time in my life where life can be experienced elsewhere and movies were but windows to the world. It's a wonderful thing to say "Claire Denis" outloud. But yeah, L.A., Chicago, and New York would be great choices. Out here in L.A. a museum called LACMA recently announced they were discontinuing their film program. That's a bummer, but there are lots of other great theaters here too. For the first time this year, I went to a Hollywood Forever Cemetery screening. They actually show films at the graveyard!
