2.Hour of the Wolf

7.The Seventh Seal

9.Scenes From a Marriage
10.Sawdust and Tinsel
Most of Hollywood is based on remakes and comicbooks (75%), theres just not a lot of origanality coming from there. That being said Sin City was good upon first viewing, but everytime I watched it again it started to lose a little more each time. It’s a page by page remake of the comicbook. I understand though, it’s what ever sells out there.
Each film on your list should be a different director from The Criterion Collection. Not in any particular order.
1. Breathless-Godard
2. Rififi-Dassin
3. Pickpocket-Bresson
4. Jules and Jim-Truffaut
5. Mr. Hulot’s Holiday-Tati
6. Le Cercle Rouge-Melville
7. The Rules of the Game-Renoir
8. La Collectionneuse-Rohmer
9. Forbidden Games-Clement
10. La Jetee-Marker
I have Songs From The Second Floor and it is a wonderful film, also seen You The Living at the Cleveland International Film Festival it was just as good. Check him out, he makes films about once every ten years.
