hahaha
Horrible. Just...wow.
Um, wow! As ignorant as this movie is, it is still better than any "superhero" movie I've ever seen.
So horribly disappointed with this film...and I'll just leave it at that.
I think I'm quite possibly the only person in the history of ever that absolutely hates this film with-a-passion.
Well... it had promise but failed miserably. Horrible editing, within the first thirteen minutes you can see the actor's microphone wires. Really horrid CGI "monster-demon-wall climbing-thingamajig"- which this film could have got away without using. Patrick Wilson's acting bored me to tears. By the end of the film it really did turn into more of a comedy.
I feel as if this film should be on MST3k
Would have been better without all the Ben Affleck one-liners.
I would just like to thank Hollywood for producing such a shitty remake. Good job America! Thanks.
Dead Ringer- 1964. How is that not listed?
I have yet to read the book....which, I bet, is better than the film.
2 stars because you get to see Tyra Banks die...
One of the most overrated films I've ever seen.
I... just could not finish this film. Not sure that has ever happened before. :/
And yet you're a fan of the remake. How does one see over 2000 films and end up so completely backwards? Hilarious.
I don't know what was more distracting: Nick Cage's highlighted hair plugs or his chiclet-like veneers. I cannot believe this film was supposed to mirror Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal.
Anthony Hopkins is brilliant.
I thought it was a beautiful film.
horrible.
I wish I could give this film more than 5 stars. I grew up in Arkansas... the characters in this film are VERY real. Unfortunately, I knew people like the characters in this film. I think that's why I liked it so much- because unlike films such as Gummo, the characters are too real. You may think the story is a little weak, but it's more realistic than any film I've seen in a very long time.
I'm all for dumb, cheesy horror movies... but this one.... did not make any sense. I was confused the entire time. Even IMDb didn't get the synopsis correct. It was horribly written and had really bad acting (a given). I really did not think it would be as bad as it was.
Two hours of my life completely wasted waiting on something to happen in this film. The casting/acting was good, the script was absolutely awful. And although I love Ladytron, their music did not fit into this movie whatsoever. If it wasn't for Bernal's performance I might not have finished this film.
I have not been SO disappointed in a movie in such a long time.
*guilty pleasure movie, and nothing more!
haha, One of my favorite movies reviewed by MST3K!
I absolutely adore this film.
I'm sure most people dislike this movie due to the few Christian references. However, I have to agree with @John Chiafos on this one.
I absolutely loved this documentary. I cannot tell you how much I was moved by this story.
I absolutely loved this film!
Yeah... I just gave this film 4 stars AND became a fan. I know. But it's only because it's a guilty pleasure and childhood nostalgia, nothing more.
loved it. simple and interesting story line, great for a short film. the animation did seem "outdated" but obviously was done that way for a reason.
Horrible, I couldn't even finish this film. Who the hell keeps casting Kristen Stewart in movies?!??
