This movie was truly cathartic for me.

Too weird to be just simply be a teen movie. Weird time travel plot, supernatural undertones the dual concerns of sex and death. Deep at the root of this story is the concerns that make us human and just at the time of a persons life when their existence starts the weigh on us and influence how we see the world.

A film about a lot of things and certainly 2 larger than life personalities, but what I will always remember and cherish about this film is ultimately the humanity in these women. We see it through their dislikes, arguments and insecurities, but most of all through the connection they have to each other, for better or worse.

One of my favorite films. Every time I see it I come away with a new question about the intricacies of love, life and existence.
