Boonmee was also a rewatch. It is the only A.P i have given 4 too. Man Escaped is probably closer to a five. Maybe i need to see it again :-) I wasn't big on Seven Psychopaths either btw. It was like a meta Guy Richie, and who the fuck needs that? :-)

It had some amusing moments and Christopher Walken, but overall, yeah, I think you summed it up pretty perfectly.

Nice to see Stroszek at the top of your Herzog list, btw.

Bet you weren't too pleased to see Nosferatu on there though. :-)

Probably about time I revisited it with a fresh mind, anyhow.

I need to watch more of Herzog's docos. I have seen all of his features now except for Scream and Stone. I'd suggest avoiding Invincible if you haven't already seen it.

Well, I thought I'd seen quite a few of his docos but looking through his page I realise there are so many more. I'm still dying to see Lessons of Darkness. Invincible seems interesting just because he is doing something so... different... from usual. When I have the time some time in the future I'll start working my way through his films again.

Lessons Of Darkness is an absolute must.

Thanks for picking Altered States. It's not a film usually associated with Russell and is one of those films I've never seen but have been intrigued by since first hearing about it over a decade ago.

Well, I would have said that it is probably his most well-known film to the majority of mortal scum, but it is brilliant so I do hope you will sha check it out when the match comes around.

Sorry, I was being a perve and read your wall and I'm glad we both love Blade Runner, particularly that impossibly beautiful "time to die" scene. I still can't get over the TDK logo behind Batty's head, though. haha.

I adore the attention. It is a fantastic scene, though I've managed to never notice the TDK thing before, I had to look it up just then. Glad to see you've managed to watch a grand total of... 1 film this year!

lol should have been a Kodak sign, though. Would have made a wicked kodak commercial. And yeah, it's easily been the least prolific year of my life. I think I saw my movies as a two year old. But, life's a bitch, and i have to work to get that stuff we call money. My film adventures are not over though. I'm just on hiatus! Glad to see you're still going strong, though!

Eh not nearly as strong as in the past. Finally getting a taste of that real world that everyone's so sha crazy about.
