About Me

I live in Austin, Texas now, having moved out with my wife after getting a cinema studies degree from UCF. This city has a better set of independent theaters, so I can actually see things other than the big blockbusters.
Long Live the Alamo Drafthouse.

I guess I can also mention that I’m a sellout to the man, doing corporate editing for a living and a little bit of family history stuff on the side for some extra cash. One of my ’’09 resolutions is to get a gig editing some fiction for a change.

I definitely enjoyed this one, yet another Criterion blind buy. The effects looked great and did a great job of illustrating the story. I couldn't help but feel like the main character got a little screwed by luck, and it confirmed my feelings when he shouted that his blood must be cursed. Definitely a good one.
