I don't recall a chinese doctor in Juliet....
Where is 'The Chalk Garden'?
Alice was okay, but Fellini's Juliet of the Spirits is a much better film on very similar themes.
A cinematographically stunning film, rendered in gorgeously contrasting black and white. And top that off it has what may be Jeanne Moreau's finest performance as a deranged elementary school teacher. Perfection!
I agree with Stephany, where is The Divorcee? Her best performance, and a truly great little gem of a film. I'd like to see it listed her someday.
Based solely on how great Antares is I really hope Revanche will be awesome. Did I mention how great Antares is.
Yes this is a tour-de-force of hoplessness, but the performence turned in by Oksana Akinshina is utterly amazing. Her performance and Lukas Moodysson's directing make this film a must-see.
I too am wishing and praying for a DVD release. It just doesn't feel right to watch such a great film for free.
I don't care what anyone says, this movie is much better than 'Festen'!
