About Me

I’m 22, went to Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA for my BA in english lit. and now I’m back in school in North Carolina for something completely unrelated.
I took a film class in school that actually made me want to seek out movies I couldn’t find in my local AMC, so here I am.
I also took both playwriting and screenwriting (part of my theatre minor) with a really tough but amazing teacher. I made an A- in playwriting and a D in screenwriting. I’m not sure what that means.

I like: quilts, perfume, dogs, boots, writing, Jack White, cartoons, sushi, and F. Scott Fitzgerald.
I don’t like: sloppy joes, Rolling Stone, forgetting to defrost my windshield, centipedes, Las Vegas, and gin.

My favorite movie is Dead Man. I used to love watching it during the summer, in my room, at night, with the fan on because it felt kind of like I was there.

The Gold Rush

Watched this movie while getting ready for school this morning. I wish I could start every day with a little Chaplin.

Fair Enough. Interesting that your favorite movie is Dead Man; it's definitely one of the most underrated films of the 1990s. I really like J. Hoberman's remark that the film is, in a sense, the Western that Andrei Tarkovsky always wanted to make.
