I'm so happy to see that Criterion is heavily hinting at a release of the Three Colors trilogy! I saw Blue when it originally came out. I'm glad I waited instead of getting a lower-quality DVD copy of the trilogy.
Am currently watching the documentary American Cinema, which I taped off PBS when it originally aired in 1995. What a great series!
Currently reading: Le roman de François Truffaut, published by Les cahiers du cinéma. It's a collection of written and oral testimonies about Truffaut, given by friends and people who have worked with him. It is quite a touching read and gives an idea of Truffaut's work process from insiders' points of view. The only major member of his extended family who did not contribute is Fanny Ardant -- maybe at the time of publication, it was still too painful to talk about him.
Came really close to getting a 3-disc copy of Brazil in Criterion. Unfortunately, it was the 1999 edition instead of the 2006 re-release. :(
