I second Rica in Snow in Spring. Beautiful cinematography.
I also want to see Kamome-Shokudo (Seagull Diner) by Naoko Ogigami/ NTV, and Mourning Forest by Naomi Kawase.

“Etoiles – Dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet”

Maybe it is because I took ballet lessons as a young girl, but this film really made me cry… The passion and dedication of the dancers is fascinating

Why not add twilight? I don’t understand the basis of distinction between “good” films and “bad” (i.e. commercial? hollywood?).
