Buffalo 66! Go vincent gallo!!!
Rie Miyazawa is one of the best actresses in Japan!
Miyazaki films rock.
I second Rica in Snow in Spring. Beautiful cinematography. I also want to see Kamome-Shokudo (Seagull Diner) by Naoko Ogigami/ NTV, and Mourning Forest by Naomi Kawase.
Sound of Music. Watched it every day, and memorized every single word in that movie…
Also Goonies and Indiana Jones series.
Nope but that sounds like fun! I still remember all the lyrics…
Hot hottie hot.
ahh Wild Strawberries…
“Etoiles – Dancers of the Paris Opera Ballet”
Maybe it is because I took ballet lessons as a young girl, but this film really made me cry… The passion and dedication of the dancers is fascinating
I like it! Much easier to understand what is where vs previous version.

4 of Criterion’s DVDs were featured in NY Mag’s top 10 DVDs of the year. Congrats!
What are your favorite Dance/ Ballet movies?
Mine are: The Dancer Etoiles of the Paris Opera Ballet
Both are wonderful documentaries!
Thanks guys for all the recommendations!!! I will start watching all these…
Why not add twilight? I don’t understand the basis of distinction between “good” films and “bad” (i.e. commercial? hollywood?).
Moveeeeeeee!
