About Me

Leaving uni in 1996 with a BSc (Hons) Computer Studies (which they have asked me to return) I have subsequently put that qualification to good use in such varied and challenging occupations as English teacher, bank clerk, banana humper, factory worker, zucchini picker, removals man, web designer, shark fisherman, and BBC producer.

When not working (which seems to be a surprising amount of the time considering my obvious talents) I am an itinerant slacker aimlessly hoboing around the world and have crossed the Gobi in a Soviet mini-van, rode into the Sahara on a camel, been arrested by SAVAK in Tehran, looked for myself in a Buddhist Monastery in the Himalayas and been pronounced a living god by an Afghani prince.

I am now based in İstanbul with my wife, best friend and soul mate, Yasemin, where we are currently finding our way.

This Means War

If there’s one thing I’ve learnt from the movies it’s that, in LA an Englishman has more chance of getting top secret CIA clearance than he has of getting the girl.
