Contagion, I thought, was quite good. It doesn't hit you immediately after you watch it, the film sort of grows on you--well, at least that was the case for me. Overall, Contagion's a very thought-provoking film, rather than the intense thriller the trailers seem to imply.

Actually, I never disliked Taxi Driver--the film just befuddled me. In fact, the film still befuddles me, but I think that's what it wants to achieve. I still have minor problems with the film, but overall, it is a brilliant character-study.
