Hells yeah, that will come in handy. I'm pretty good with my ratio atm, but I'm sure that I'll be having to utilise that in the future. Thanks dude. Seen anything good lately?

summer classes are majorly getting in my way (nothing new here), but Adventureland is a great flick; saw The Brothers Bloom again which I think is the most irresistible movie ever made, as well as the quite-literally-one-of-a-kind Brick. unfortunately that's it for the past month or so. you? anything in particular to recommend?

Yeah I hear ya. At the end of my current semester I watched nothing, but all I did was write essays about film. Pretty frustrating. I've seen Brick and really enjoyed it, and I've got Brothers Bloom, you may inspire me to watch it. Not much really to recommend. I just watched 3 days of the Condor. Pretty badass Redford 70s conspiracy film. I've been sinking my teeth into Treme, David Simon's new show, it is fucking incredible.

yeah I've been looking at your random tumblr posts on film. is that related to this? also, you took a class on Italian cinema, right? if I could, I would take region/country-centered cinema classes until I died. so fascinating.

let me know how it goes. if you can't find it, it's on passthepopcorn (private movie tracker), and I can either get an invite or DL it myself and upload it in .rar parts or something.

I really enjoyed the deconstruction of cinematic form and elements. I really applaud Bjork’s beautiful and tragic performance. I really loved the comparison between the extravagant, avant-garde even…  read review

A jazzy, misguided, messy autobiographical film about life on the streets of little Italy in New York city. Scorsese has begun to discover his craft and skill technically, and you can see it is a passionate…  read review
