Max Ber: The "alternative" title is the original title, and is Man Who Hates Women; Lor Sin: Apart from Rapace and Nyqvist the acting was pretty poor, even those two weren't fantastic - the cinematography was pretty good, but some of the direction was misleading (in terms of convention); Rob Leb: If you had read the second book, or even watched the second film (which, is so much worse than the first), you would know that the "rape-in-one-scene-revenge-in-the-next" sub-plot is completely central to most of the narrative; Ryan Scott: You are right, the film is pretty shallow - READ THE BOOK!
