Originally from Houston, Texas, Dax has lived in Florida, California, and Texas over the past five years. Dax is an avid painter, and animator. “My goal is to always enjoy making many kinds of art, so that they all inform and feed off of each other.” In 2008 I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design with a degree in Computer Animation. I made a ton of experimental animation hand drawn shorts and music videos in 2009. In 2010, look forward to seeing me apply many of those ideas, mixed with my traditional paintings, in a 3D direction.

Currently, I’m in pre-production on my first feature film, “Symphony in Sweeatch,” which will be scored by the amazing composer Dave Merson Hess. I have been writing the story and drawing characters for months now. I have a ton of visual ideas I have sketched out on paper, which I look forward to expanding in the future, in many aspects of my art.
