Paul Thomas Anderson

PT is my favorite director of all time. I know some will knock that..but he is and I can't help that. He is the guy who really got me into liking "film" and not just movies. Magnolia is my all time favorite movie and despite all his other great films, I still think it's his greatest achievment. He, himself, has said he will probably never make a film greater than that and only time will tell, of course, but I think it's a valid statement. Still every film he has done is amazing and There Will Be Blood only affirms that he has plenty of tricks up his sleeve and will continue to make great films in many genres.
