Wim Wenders has a lot of films in criterion but I would love to see Paris, Texas and Buena Vista Social Club added to the list and extraordinary director. Elia Kazan probably with A face in the crowd, Sydney Lumet (Serpico, 12 Angry Men, Running on Empty)
Miranda July’s film (me and you and everyone we know) would have a great treatement on criterion, especially after the DVD had no significant features. Takashi Miike, all his films, love to see an essiental Wong Kar Wai collection with Happy Together and 2046 one of them.
Pedro Almondovar period! Viva Pedro! Maybe just his earlier works.
Lastly Atom Egoyan, Exotica and The Sweet Hereafter. And put on more Croenenberg!
Zodiac
There Will Be Blood
Infernal Affairs
Quinceanera
The Dreamers (Bertolucci)

Maybe Larry Clark collection, (Kids, Ken Park, Bully, Wassup Rockers)

Pedro Almondovar! Viva Pedro! Every film from Pedro.
Ghost World
Elephant (Gus Van Sant)
Waking Life (Richard Linklater)
The Wanderers (Philip Kaufman’s earlier film that got bashed by critics when released same year as the Warriors)
Stand and Deliver (even with the sweep at the Indie Spirit Awards I know many people that think this film is corny and over the top)
She’s gotta have it (Spike Lee’s passive masterpiece)
Finding Forrester (Gus Van Sant’s “Studio” Film, I love it a lot)
The Rules of Attraction (from the “real” writer of Pulp Fiction, Roger Avary)
Selena (Gregory Nava who had a criterion masterpiece with El Norte, highly underrated film about the great latina artist)
Panic Room (David Fincher’s follow-up to Fight Club)
The Wanderers (Philip Kaufman’s earlier film that got bashed by critics when released same year as the Warriors)

Chungking Express – Christopher Doyle
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly/Saving Private Ryan – Janusz Kaminski
