David Lynch’s Dune, is one of the worst movie ever. (I love everything else from lynch though !)
Tarantino’s Death proof is just bad… It seems like only hard-core Tarantino fans like it… But still, I think Kill Bill II was a disappointement after the awesomeness of Kill Bill I…
The Latest Chaplin Movies are lame…
I hate von Trier’s Epidemic… And still i’m a big fan of The Element of Crime & Europa…
Clint Eastwood’s Flags of our fathers, is nothing compared to Letters from Iwo Jima…
Even if many people like this one : I don’t like Jarmusch’s Ghost Dog, that much either…
Peter Jackson’s Bad taste is actually is worst movie. I guess he had Bad tastes back then ah ah:D (Lame…) i’m not a big fan of The Lovely Bones too even if it is a fine movie…
Dario Argento’s Mother of Tears was a big disappointement…
Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes… I just have nothing else to, there’s just nothing to say about this movie… I’m just impressed that i see Charlie and the Choclate Factory a lot in this topic… but i’m sure Planet of the Apes is just so lame you all forgot about it XD
> have you seen King Kong, one of the worst remakes ever made????
Well yes i have seen King Kong, and it’s a great picture. i’m sorry but it’s far far better than the other King Kong remake… Naomi Watts is just awesome in the movie and it’s a pretty good movie… I mean, okay, maybe you get bored a bit because there are 20 minutes that should not exist in the movie. But still, i think it’s a great movie. Far better than Bad tastes… Okay, the 1933 King Kong is a masterpiece, anyway, as a remake, Jackson’s King Kong is good. Maybe not his best shot, okay, but not his worst… But well, i suppose you’re saying this because you think King Kong is a blockbuster so it must not be a great movie. Just like 1933 King Kong was not a blockbuster when it was shown in theatre…
And Lord of the Ring is awesome too. i’m sorry, but these books were considered as impossible to be adapted for the cinema. And Peter Jackson just made the impossible, possible. And that, is just marvellous…
Oh and please Dimitri, just leave him alone. I mean, your argument is that he acts like an academic ? What about you ? I mean you act like someone who thinks he’s better than everyone else just because he’s seen more movies than them ? What about you ? You really are acting like a kid right now. What is that “I know a lot more than you imagine”… You’re a little egocentric i guess. But anyway, i’m not judging you, just stop arguing about things you can’t argue about. Everyone has tastes. Some know more about films, some look like they know a lot, and some just don’t know about cinema. That’s life. get over it.
> sure, Lovely Bones was the big blow-up, but still…King Kong compared to the free-roaming Jackson of his low-budget period…is tooooo small…and whoever said the first remake was worth of anything?
Of course, King Kong is nothing compared to Dead Alive, Heavenly Creatures, The frighteners but Bad Tastes is nothing compared to themm too… And, i find it awful… The picture is funny, but that’s the only part of the film i appreciate…
> i don’t give a rat’s ass about what you think
Okay then… It’s not by acting this way you’ll make a point of something. If you want your opinion and ideas to be heard, you have to express them respectfully, this way people will be able to listen to you, and maybe change their mind… But with acting like a jerk, you just bring nothing but silly arguments… But that’s my opinion, and i guess you don’t give a crap about what i think like you said…
Definitely Playtime, because it’s probably one of the most accomplished film i’ve ever seen. A tale of the Wind is still a masterpiece, even though, i prefer Tati’s movie.
