went to hollywood video, my friend was undecided on a movie, so i browsed some sections and picked this one, had no idea what it was about, he saw it - loved it, i saw it, loved it.
hal ashby is a legend, and i wish he made more movies. all of them are dreamy but so tangible.
drives you crazy to not think you can erase that skank from ur memory. oh well, thats what meth is for.
damn that bitch fucked up.
this film is something to keep close from childhood all the way till death. makes you cry, makes you laugh, makes you say "oh thats adorable." and you see meryl streep be a total bitch, but she redeems herself all the way to china town. When i saw apocalypse now, i thought HOW COULD IT BE BEAT? but then i saw this movie the other day and i see, you will see!
i afree with brian, i based my email adress off of goodfellas as the age of 15.
Old Boy is a beauty.
i unbearably watched the first 20 minutes of this film. though the film did not display a tremendous amount of violence within those first 20 minutes, i felt that it occured in vast amounts. my stomach wretched because the scenes made me so uncomfortable, the suburbia was extremely well chosen. i wish i could watch the rest of it but i dont think my gut can handle it.
the caged bird he has in his room blew my mind.
my heart went under a great deal of stress, i was able to feel for all the characters, and the cinematography was beautiful.
