I would recommend either Santa Sangre or El Topo as a place to start with Jodo - El Topo is a surreal mystical western. Santa Sangre is sort of a Fellini meets Giallo version of Psycho. Holy Mountain is also a masterpiece (and what a fantastic mind-fuck) ...

Alabaster, AL has the best Whataburger in the world. They have like 15 DIFFERENT kind of fountain drinks on tap, including Barq's Rootbeer-which becomes harder to find on tap as you make your way north through Alabama and into Georgia and Tennessee.
