Theater and Film… can life get much better than that?
Theater and Film… can life get much better than that?
The most difficult thing for me in watching films suggested by MUBI, friends, or simply something I've liked in the past is this--I tend to watch films as I'm baking...I can't do that with subtitles (nor would I want dubbing)... so, I have to choose between making a Bitter Chocolate flourless cake with blood orange ganache and a French chocolate buttercream frosting and keeping my eyes on the screen. Decisions, decisions.
I find myself putting films on my 'to watch' list, that I've already seen... proof they are worth watching again, I reckon.
Struggled through watching 'An American Crime', w/Ellen Page and Catherine Keener. The struggle came not from the having to watch bad acting/directing/script.. it was based on the subject...my never ending puzzlement over the actions of people when they act like sheep.
