Hey, thanks for the follow. And YES, Street of Shame is a masterpiece! Nice to see somene writing about Lewis, btw.
I like it very much, but it's not as good as BELLBOY or LADIES MAN. What I wrote, in a nutshell, was that Lewis transformed what could be a very normal studio comedy in something of his own, with the final sequence. By the way, your profile picture is from which Jerry Lewis movie? Is it Tashlin's?
Neither, i just shared it, the interview is by Osvaldo Neto and Ronald Perrone, for the blog they have, dedicated to Albert Pyun: http://radioactivedream.blogspot.com/
I didn't knew Pyun that well until I read that interview, he tried to do pretty bold things. I'm particulary curious about "Infection" which seems to be an 80 minutes single shot movie..
You should watch Radioactive Dreams, Mean Guns (widescreen print), Dangerously Close, Deceit, Adrenalin (DC), Cyborg (DC, although the print is shit), Dollman, and Nemesis. Those are his best from what I've seen. Everything else ranges from being decent to godawful.
