thanks. disney unfortunately took priority in my home haha. I wish i could have grown up on miyazaki! Have u read/heard of his book 'starting point 1979-1996'? its every miyazaki fan's dream book.... so they say. As for mizoguchi, ive only seen Ugetsu, so i say thats where u start! haha its actually great, just make sure u have plenty of popcorn to keep you awake, its a tad slow. But theres so many scenes that are so incredibly memorable and beautiful that u wont regret sitting through the movie... especially the end. Probably the best movie ive seen about greed and lust so.... theres my pitch to you haha.
