My favortie is Murnau’s Sunrise actually, but the library does not seem to have it. What a pity!
He’s definitely a great director who understands a lot about humans.
Some films of Kielowski, Godard, Kurosawa, Ann Hui, Stanley Kubrick, Yamada Yoji, Gus Van Sant also inspire me.
