I know the CC edition of Variety Lights has been OOP for some time, and the Essential Art House edition is going out of print.
Amazon evidently still has copies of the CC edition in stock, but there are no supplements really, so is there any reason in the world to get the CC edition if possible, or is the obvious answer to get the EAH edition for 10 bucks?
There is no extra content on the CC edition. I guess I’m looking for someone to make it clear that there is no reason on earth to consider buying that version, or to make it clear that there is a reason. It seems real obvious, but I can’t help thinking there could be a reason to buy the original version if possible.
When I go to checkout, it says that my member discount has been applied, yet the total is the same as the normal online price plus tax. Shouldn’t there be an additional 10% off??
I took a picture, but I don’t know how to upload it. I’ve been traveling so I haven’t kept updated on here, but I finally made some purchases that I’ve been putting off for a while. So here’s the final tally:

@KNDY: What you see in the photo is about $2700. With the order waiting to be shipped it will be damn near exactly $3000.
@Loofrin: I don’t have a plan. The ironic thing is that the hardest part is just choosing one. I will stare at them for 2 hours trying to pick one and then just go to bed because its so late.
So on the Masters of Cinema deal…I’m looking at the website but I’m wondering about shipping. Is it cost effective to buy stuff from England? Also, I guess it’s only blu-rays that will be region free.
When you go to the BN website, under Buy 1, Get 2 sale they are advertising Criterions, but they don’t show the icon, and at checkout it won’t work. It would be a great deal because they have a bunch of Blu-rays for $23.99, so it would work out to about $16 per disc. Am I doing something wrong?
