But I must say that, in Pickpocket, the whole point of the film is that the actors look so stilted, so that, in the last scene, when the two are passionate with each other, it comes across as much more powerful, because we have not seen emotion like that at ALL in the film. The whole point is for them to be so dead-like. Savvy
