Anton: What a useless and obnoxious comment. I can't read. Oh, too late... I DID.
A whole lotta style. Not a lot of substance. Book of the Dead — we geddit, okay. What more shagging?! If you must. Lucky the whole thing looked so utterly blindingly amazing.
I liked the Final Destination films until now. They were tacky throw-away fun and seemed to know it, like the Screams, there was a bit of a wink and a nod to us older and wiser horror freaks. This 3D outing has the cold dark heart of a studio executive who doesn't really watch films but loves the idea that 3D supposedly prevents pirating. Rubbish characters, blander than bland actors, dodgy graphics and mega fugly art direction. Just rotten.
Yep. Loved all his other films. Hated this.
I'm a fan of Alex Cox but this isn't one of his better films. Repo Man, Three Businessmen or Highway Patrolman are all worth checking out... hey, they all have the men in the title. Weird.
