Which Movies Have You Walked Out On? over 3 years ago

Not so much walked out of, but I have stopped the following DVDs before finishing them:

Junebug – got as far as the part at the beginning where the artist shows that he had to continue Robert E. Lee’s private parts on the back of his painting

Scary Movie – watched for 15 minutes, never laughed, turned it off

Now, how about CRITERION issued films you just don't like!! over 3 years ago

M. Hulot’s Holiday – I’ve tried to watch it 2 or 3 times now and I never find it as amusing as I’m told I should. In fact, the last time I tried watching it, I fell asleep 1/2 way through it!

DVD'S YOU MUST OWN over 3 years ago

DVD’s:

Alien Quadrilogy – 2 versions of each movie, onscreen markers for added/altered footage, original script for Alien, 24+ hours worth of mostly interesting extras, although the lack of the participation of David Fincher (completely understandable, given the treatment of his film by the studio) is sad

Criterion’s Rebecca – great extras, great booklet

BLURAY:

Close Encounters of the Third Kind – 3 versions of the movie, with an extra that pops up on screen and shows what the differences are between them

Blade Runner 5 Disc Collector’s Edition – all 5 versions of the movie, excellent price, good extras

Pixar’s Cars – best looking BluRay in my whole collection
