Civil War

The tender touch of youth and the juxtaposition of a quiet and warm place with a bunch of boiling souls that speak through a non-verbal language. It's simple yet honest and very well crafted. Really inventive and underrated. It's a shame Guerra Civil is not having a wider distribution because of music rights.

I really don't know Portuguese cinema very well, but i'm interested to explore, as with many other countries, and i do love Portugal. I think about Portugal every day, it's never far from my mind. The Portuguese list is of all the Portuguese films i've found on mubi, but most i've not seen (as i said on the list).
