Brother, your story is scary similar to mine. I spent three years in San Diego and L.A. working on other people's crap, I'm one state north of you doing the rebellious thing. I'm one hell of an assistant director and I can set your production into nice shape. Let me know, I'd love to be involved with a Midwest filmmaker who actually knows who Ozu is. What is up with Spielberg? Hanging his hat on Michael Bay? He's got to know the guy is a hack. So he must be doing it for the money. Very sad. You wouldn't Martin Scorsese do something like that. Oh yea, another thing. I just watched and then purchased every Kieslowski film. That man was a genius. Is films are so dream like, and poetic. Ah, the world of foreign films. It's never ending. We must remember that there is a big world out there. So much to see.
