Hey Dzimas, not sure if you saw my post but i finally checked out Faust last month. What a film!! I like it more now after thinking about it. You like said, there is a constant sense of movement. In that sense it's more like Russian Ark than some of his more recent efforts, but the episodic plot combined with the camera movements almost reminded me of Fellini too, even though the style is extremely different.
