I find it interesting that this film was shot in 1979 and 1985.....and the theme stands true for 2008. Alarmingly wonderful documentary I just saw thanks o this sight.....and Malle of course.

A simple, stunning and candid film which raises the question of the meaning of death and if/when it ever occurs, the attachment to memory and the way in which a person lives life - and how a person learns to appreciate.
