In my 27 years I have grown into a total film snob, I am very picky about the cinema I watch(pickier than most) I was raised on everything from old Hollywood and silent films to forgein art house cinema. I expect a lot of intelligence from the cinema I watch, and I’m not easily impressed by special effects. My absolute favorite film is Irréversible, everytime I watch it feels as if I’m watching for the first time. It shook me to the core and I was totally blown away by the effect it had on me. Going through the library I noticed that there are a number of films that I love that aren’t listed.
Jisatsu Saakuru(Suicide Club), Die Bitteren Tränen der Petra von Kant(The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant), Dans ma Peau(In my Skin), La Bête(The Beast), 9 Songs, Short Bus, Gojitmal(Lies), Baise Moi(Fuck Me) anything by John Waters, Tinto Brass, Russ Meyer…………this list will get longer
