Every review of this always seems to talk about the technique, experiment, and influence of this film, but I found watching it to be one of the highest cinematically satisfying experiences out there.
Absolutely stunning--and I'm using that word like it should be used. This film stunned me. It's gorgeous.
Quite the brilliant film all around.
This is one of those pictures where you cannot, no matter how hard you want to, look away, blink, or breath. Completely shattering.
Dreyer has a way of grabbing you with his films. I was completely transfixed watching this. Very rarely does one find a film so powerful.
I absolutely love everything about this film.
This is my personal favorite Wes Anderson. Bizarre, yes, but the emotionality of the film just hits me hard. I love it.
