Yes, finish the Antonioni trilogy with “La Notte” and follow up that up with “Red Desert”, a DVD I cannot find less willing to pay exhorbitant prices on Amazon.
Agree. “Phantom of Liberty” sitting toilet seats at the dining table and having a meal in the restroom. Or the guests sitting at the dinner table only to realize that once the curtains open up,they are on stage and they run off frantically.
It’s a feel good film and that what I got from it. Boyle captured the frenetic pace of India quite well. I did not care for the romantic strings but it was overall enjoyable.

Slumdog Millionaire Overrated Film of the Year over 3 years ago
