It's not often I think a director has made the wrong choice by keeping their film to 90 minutes, but this felt cramped - the ensemble cast hardly manages enough screentime to make their characters feel 3D. The storyline seems to be (consciously or not) derived from To Kill a Mockingbird, and it's effective enough, as far as it goes, but five minutes after the film ended, I wasn't entirely sure if I'd seen it at all.
