My Rating Scale:
– Absolutely Horrible, I probably shut it off, fell asleep or kept watching in astonishment as to how bad it was.
– Mildly entertaining, perhaps a good performance by one or two characters, But nothing I will ever watch again. Alternatively, something too artsy or Avant-Garde that it takes away from the whole experience.
– Some solid performances and/or writing, perhaps some decent cinematography. Entertaining enough to say it was a good film and maybe even watch again.
– Solid performances, solid writing and/or notable cinematography. Very entertaining and/or emotionally moving, something I would watch again or possibly own. (Unless it was disturbing in which I praise directors/writers for making such gut-wrenching film. Although I may not being able to bring myself to watch it again)
– Fantastic performances, writing, and/or cinematography. Something that was captivating or has truly moved me. The film is one that I will watch again and again. I either own or wish very badly to own this film. (Again, unless it is for it’s disturbing factors, I do appreciate a film wish makes me very uncomfortable or sick to my stomach.)
