I studied Media Art at the Hochschule fur Graphik und Buch-Kunst (HGB) in Leipzig, Germany living in Germany from 1989 through 2000. I helped found and then manage the Thueringische Sommer Akademie for eight years. SoAk will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2011.

Upon returning to New York in 2000, a wonderful mixture of timing and fate lead me to work at BAM a year after its superb repertory film program BAMcinematek was established. I worked as Senior Publicity Manager from 2001-2009. As of mid November 2009, I’ll be continuing to do what I love–promote The Arts, now for the Whitney museum.

Among other creative pursuits I write poetry (TheDiagram.com and Diagram.2 Art.Text.Schematic, The Second Print Anthology, 2006, ed. Ander Monson). My third poetry chapbook Between My Teeth was completed in April 2009.
