Did you legitimately write that review for Donnie Darko and then say the Avengers was incredible? Like, are you the world's worst troll or worst audience member?
Seeing how you noticed what I said more than a week ago, and decided to call out and judge a complete stranger based on two movies (which is completely fair by the way), I think you would have to be the worl'ds worst troll lol.
I think I wrote a pretty to-the-point commentary on Avengers. But it's more that you found things amazing in Avengers (no idea how) and couldn't recognize anything amazing (at all, apparently) in Donnie Darko that makes you a questionable intellectual.
I read your review, its obvious that you decided to hate it before you even saw it. Maybe your sophisticated tastes have grown to reject anything thats not highfalutin, I dont know. Donnie Darko was wierd, not smart-weird, not interesting-weird, just weird. You can have it. And calling me a "questionable intellectual" because I dont like a movie you like makes you "something" but I dont want to say what lol
Also I should rephrase so really explain exactly what I mean. I didn't particularly like Donnie Darko. I do think, though, it had its moments and if you can't recognize a moment in Donnie Darko, but you can recognize an amazing amount of moments in a pile of shit like the Avengers, you have terrible taste. That's it.
Hey Im not sayng that The Avengers is a perfect movie, the 3rd act despite its ambition is weak and sometimes the dialogue is corny but thats just not enough to ruin it for me. You cant watch it in the same way you would watch Donnie Darko, I was blown away by the sheer magnitude of the spectacle, this movies not supposed to teach you anything profound. With that in mind I dont think theres anything wrong with enjoying a popcorn movie
