What a shame! here's another one not listed in MUBI.
Borderline (1950)
Back when maryjane was illegal undercover agents try stop either Raymond Burr or a parrot (I can't be sure, I wasn't watching it close enough to tell) smuggle a load of reefer over the titular Borderline. Borderline also happens to be the name of a totally wacky, sleezy cantina song and dance routine by an uncredited choreographer that's the highpoint of the film. Don't miss it! Miguel's hat is to die for. The pot {sic} boils throughout.
Hey! I just watched this ding-dang move and it isn't even listed in MUBI! How'm I gonna warn you to keep away!?
The X From Outer Space (1967)
Aside from some really hilarious dialogue and a music track that sounds like it's a band practicing to play a high school mixer, this dreadful waste of time has little to recommend it. Since this is Japanese monster movie to tell you that the monster is a guy in a rubber suite and "it's now on a rampage and headed for Tokyo" would be no spoiler. You can guess what happens when it get there. Take the advice of one of the characters: "Hey, research is fun and all, but sometimes you gotta rest."
Having been very favorably impressed by Joon-ho Bong's "Mother" (2009) some time ago, I've just finished a triple bill of "Barking Dogs Never Bite" (2000), "The Host" (2006) and "Memories of Murder" (2003). All I can say at this point is that the films were terrifically diverse (each & all) yet cohesive as the work of a single director. More later, after I've had a chance to mull them over.
"My profile was too long (I LOVE to write about ME!) and it was clogging up this page so I moved it" lol, I feel you man! "Hitler's Madman" fan? love it!
